The MY FRIEND REGRET musical continues to take shape with this lovely number, Obscurity in Perpetuity. I wrote this about a week ago when my brother came to visit for the last time before moving away.
A lot of these lyrics are based in historical real life experiences/feelings for me. Thoughts I've had over the years at various points, albeit blown up to cartoonish proportions for, well, comedy's sake.
I decided if my life was an emoji, it would be the laugh-cry emoji.
This will be a fun one to produce!
